Project Goal

Resumix was conceived to help student interns and job candidates compile highly professional, print-ready resumes in minutes. The core objective was providing a robust web editor that locks output strictly to standard A4 printing constraints.

Engineering Challenges

Standard web layouts change dynamically between different device viewports, which typically breaks standard print designs. The main engineering constraint was ensuring that the editor canvas represents the exact page-break lines and dimensions of physical documents.

Key Technical Achievements

• Built an A4 print preview engine that automatically tracks page-height capacity.
• Programmed customizable neobrutalist and corporate template layers managed through reactive state hooks.
• Integrated lightweight client-side PDF export modules ensuring high resolution formatting without backend processing bottlenecks.
